History
Navarac Holidays
Ltd was started in early 2003 by purchasing holiday
accommodation on a popular holiday site in Yorkshire,
offering them for hire at competitive prices. We have
realised how difficult it is for customers to find
a wide variety of accommodation from a single source
outwith the major corporate holiday companies. Similarly,
many owners can offer their accommodation for rent
at a lower cost than these large companies and with
more facilities. In June 2004 Navarac Holidays limited
was renamed to SmartBookers Ltd and took over all the
assets of the previous company.
This website was first launched in February
2004 to bring customers and owners together for their
mutual benefit and since then has undergone a number
of changes.
In late 2004 we were the subject of a review
in Internet Works and this prompted us to review the website again
and we have made some further changes to enhance the experience. Whilst we have
made a number of smaller changes over the following two years it is only in 2007
that we have decided it was time for another overhaul. This time we introduced
a number of new functions specifically aimed at making life easier for our growing
number of private Owners.
As the private caravan hire market become monopolised by the big operators we moved into Credit Card Management and have carried out this function since 2006. Having now gained a lot of experience in this market we were firstly sub-contracted by D2Deals and more recently AM and PM Serviced Apartments.

House.
We are registered under the Data Protection
Act.
